The Danish federation and coach Rudolf Zeilinger officially announced the following combinations for the London 2012 Olympics from the 2 – 9 August.
After the Grand Prix in Aachen the following have been selected.
- Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein – Digby, (v.Donnerhall x Sandro)
- Anna Kasprzak – Donnperignon, (v. Donnerhall x Mozart II)
- Anne van Olst – Exquis Taikoen, (v. Negro x Rothschild)
- Individual Liesbeth Seierkilde with Jonstrupgaardens Ranour (v.Schwadroneur) along with the reserve rider Sidsel Johansen met Schianto (v. Gibraldi)
Anne Van Olst will take Exquis Clearwater as a reserve horse.
“These are four strong combinations to send to London,” said Zeilinger. “There are new talents and experienced horses with them. I think Denmark is a strong candidate to retain their Bronze medal from the 2008 Olympics.”
