Bustique develops into a top progenitor
In 2022, Bustique returned to the breeding station where he has started. The stallion owned by Stal Hendrix covered his first breeding years at Van Olst Horses and from those breeding years we now see many offspring competing in the international classes up to top level. Including no one less than the outstanding Grand Prix and World Cup winner Beauville Z (ds.Jumpy des Fontaines), with whom Maikel van der Vleuten made history by winning the individual bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021.
Other remarkable offspring of Bustique are Florida Balia NL, Hendrick’s HX, Berdien, Footlose HX and Golia. Time and time again, Bustique proves to breed excellent showjumpers with great mentality. Paul Hendrix: “Bustique produces top showjumpers, he follows in the footsteps of his sire Indoctro. More than ten offspring are competing in 1.50/1.60m classes and 45 offspring on 1.35-1.45m level.” Although his first progeny are only 12 years of age, Bustique is already ranked 34th at the WBFSH Sire ranking. Many top riders have welcomed his offspring in their stables.
Bustique was placed in international 1.45/1.50m classes with Michel Hendrix. After staying in the United States of America for a couple of years he has returned to Stal Hendrix in 2019. He is turning in to a top progenitor of showjumpers and he is a sibling of the Grand Prix showjumpers Mustique and Noor, with which Bustique represents a solid performance family.
This is what he has already achieved:
Fabalia and Feeling Luckey, both performing on international 1.50/1.60m level
