CK Zuid-Holland: Passion V.S. (v. Kjento) champion of older mares
Last weekend, the championship inspection for all categories took place. Laurens van Lieren served as the speaker, and Bart Bax and Petro Trommelen were present as judges. The champion in the four- to seven-year-old mares category was Passion V.S. (by Kjento).
This star mare had already made a splash during the morning program and, with her performance, earned an invitation to the championship for her age group, which she then won with flying colors. Passion V.S.’s dam is Bylana (by Krack C) and was bred by Franke van de Oever. Petro: “This is a long-lined mare with well-developed withers and a strong topline. Her walk is pure and spacious, and in trot, she showed good technique and excellent impulsion.”
A year ago, Marloes Bakker from Oud-Beijerland purchased Passion V.S. At ACM Stables: “I went to the inspection today with a very open mind; I really wanted her to achieve the “keur” and “elite” predicates. I bought her to ride. She’s a very sweet and willing mare. She has a fantastic disposition and is always a joy to ride. I’m deliberately taking it easy with her and really taking good care of her.”
