Van Olst Horses is a professional equestrian business that operates internationally within all facets of the modern jumping / dressage sport and breeding.
Stallions at stud, youngstock, sport, purchase and sale, complement each other seamlessly through a system developed over the years based on own experience and own philosophy. Our aim is: “To strive for the highest possible quality in everything”.
Van Olst Horses has been active in the international equestrian business since 1983. With approved stallions such as Animo and Zalmeco the business quickly made a furore. Initially, Gertjan concentrated on show jumping but his wife Anne van Olst brought about a change in this. The Danish-born rider participated no fewer than five times in the Olympic Games on the Danish team. Gertjan and Anne are a true power couple in the sport of dressage.
Equestrian Business of the Year
In 2013 the business received the title “Equestrian Business of the Year”. The judging panel was impressed with the passion and vision, as well as with the fact that Van Olst Horses is active in several specialisations, all at the highest international level. The public award was also won by Van Olst Horses.
