Kjento daughter Soof Osterbos top scorer EPTM with 86.5 points

During the EPTM exam in Ermelo, the participating horses showed their best side. Eight dressage and fourteen show jumping horses passed and two mares received an invitation to the National Mare Inspection.

“The EPTM exam went well today, the horses performed well with some nice highlights”, says Marcel Beukers, who took care of the assessment together with Luuk Smetsers and Sandra Schmuecker. The highest score was for the Kjento daughter Soof Osterbos (out of Hera Sollenburg elite IBOP-dres PROK by Bretton Woods, bred and registered with F.M. Dröge and E.M.C. Zuidam from Swolgen, with R.W. Zuidam as co-breeder). This mare impressed with both her exterior and her movement qualities.

NMK invitation
“A very appealing mare, who is built upwards and shows a lot of length in the body”, says Marcel Beukers. “She has a striking front and a lot of blood expression. In walk she shows a lot of space, suppleness and purity. In trot her technique stands out, with good use of the body and bend in the hind leg. In canter she shows a lot of balance and uphill movement, with a lot of technique there too.” She received a 9 for the canter and for her talent as a dressage horse. Soof Osterbos was rewarded with 85 points for exterior; the total score was 86.5 points. The mare was declared elite and invited to the NMK. “A very complete mare,” Beukers summarizes.
