Romantico RM sold to America after strong performances at KWPN Championships

The KWPN-approved stallion Romantico RM has been sold to the United States. The talented stallion, bred by R. Mulder from Houwerzijl and owned by Stud Tommelberg, Wuustwezel-Loenhout, and Van Olst Horses, Den Hout, attracted international attention after his convincing performance in the (semi-)finals of the Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup.
Romantico stood out for his disposition, scope, technique, and rideability, ultimately finishing seventh.
“We are proud of what Romantico has shown so far. His sale is a wonderful confirmation of his potential, and we look forward to his future in America with confidence,” said co-owner Van Olst Horses.
Romantico is a son of the Dutch champion Grandorado TN N.O.P. (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek), who has already achieved several successes at the highest level under Willem Greve. The dam is Madame Cornet RM, a daughter of Cornet Obolensky (by Clinton). Granddam Wordulan (by Lasino) produced several horses that competed at the 1.40m level and higher, including the Lord Z daughter Dolce Vita, who jumped at the 1.55m level with Barbara Schnieper (SUI). The dam line then traces back to a Holstein mare line with the stallions Cascavelle, Literat, and Roman.
Van Olst Horses and Stud Tommelberg wish the new owners much success with this promising stallion in the future.
