Ilegro and Lottie second in the Small Tour at The Dutch Masters

The KWPN-approved Ilegro (by Inclusive, breeders the Hanse family from Burgh-Haamsteede and Van Olst Horses, Den Hout) showed great talent and Grand Prix potential under Charlotte Fry during his first major international indoor competition. With a beautiful trot and a skillfully ridden walk reprise, their score was sky-high. In canter, too, the stallion, bred from the full sister of Valegro, showed a great deal of potential and proved he could already close very well, but some tension put pressure on the score. It was 70.823% and a second place for Ilegro and his British rider Lottie Fry.
During the freestyle, Ilegro under Charlotte Fry once again showed great potential and quality, but some tension in the walk and canter cost points, although the stallion still completed the test clear. With 75.190%, they finished just outside the podium in fourth place.
