Glamourdale first place in most recent monthly WBFSH ranking

The Dutch dressage horse breeders are once again among the best dressage horse breeders in the world. They are at the top of the latest monthly ranking of the WBFSH. In dressage, the KWPN has led the ranking for eight years in a row and the studbook is on its way to a ninth final victory. This interim ranking is part of the monthly publications that the WBFSH publishes in the run-up to the official ranking in October. Top scorer GLAMOURDALE (Lord Leatherdale out of Thuja stb pref prest by Negro. Breeder J.W. Rodenburg, Ouderkerk aan den IJssel) leads the list with 2419 points, a difference of no less than 170 points to number 2.

Glamourdale, KEUR, two-time world champion and Olympic bronze medal winner, ridden by Charlotte Fry (GBR), has climbed from 15th place in 2024 to first place in this month’s ranking.

Van Olst stallions on top

Horses can earn points at all international FEI competitions. They are ranked in order of success and the results of the best six horses are included in the WBFSH studbook ranking. The annual WBFSH ranking is calculated over the period from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024.

There, Everdale son Imhotep (out of Della d’Ottie stb-ext prest by Vivaldi, breeder Tineke Huizing from Donderen) scores the most points for the KWPN. With his individual fourth place, he just stays ahead of his father: Everdale (Lord Leatherdale out of Aliska K elite EPTM-dres PROK by Negro, breeder Piet Kluytmans from Tilburg).
