Lantanas Daughters
With a score of 80/80, Lantanas daughter Sering (out of Fresia ster pref prest PROK D-OC by Negro) from Van Olst Horses in Den Hout performed well. She even earned 85 points for her trot. “This mare has a good rectangular conformation, a beautiful forehand with a light head/neck connection and a good topline. She walks with plenty of body use, trots well with her withers raised, and brings her hind legs under well. Her posture is not only positive at the trot but also at the canter, and she also has good balance.” With a score of 75/80, the Lantanas daughter Shakira (out of Goedele V.D.B. elite IBOP-dres PROK by Lord Leatherdale, breeder: P. van de Brandt from Volkel) of Van Olst Horses achieved a ster score of 75/80. “This long-lined mare could stand a bit more size and has a good topline, a hard and correct foundation. She walks with ample scope and body use, and trots actively, with good shoulder freedom and a carried hind leg. In the canter, she also has good leg technique, posture, and carriage.” Rosengart J2L (Glamourdale out of Zafeda ster pref prest PROK by San Remo, breeder: J2L Stables from Hoogstraten), owned by L. van der Hauw-Jansma from Haskerhorne and G.A. de Vries from Terherne, achieved the same score of 75/80. This mare has a sufficiently rectangular conformation, good withers and shoulders, and a slightly sloping croup. She walks and trots actively, with good shoulder freedom and good body use. She moves with well-carried hind legs and canters powerfully and uphill.
