Information

Don Ruto is a son of the coveted Don Gregory out of the wonderful Rubinstein-daughter Ballerina I, a mare who lives up to her name. She is blessed with a beautiful model, fantastic movement and a strong hind leg action. Ballerina I is also very interesting breeding-wise, having the mare Blitzrot as granddam. Blitzrot is also known for being the granddam of the greatest and most well-known dressage horse producers ever, the stallion Doruto.

Don Ruto is already high up the dressage rankings as sire of international horses such as Don Joe (ds.Negro), Don Jeroen (ds.Negro), Zidhane (ds.Negro) with Anne van Olst and Nip Tuck (ds. Animo). Nip Tuck, with his rider Carl Hester,  was in 4thplace on the FEI dressage world rankings list in 2016.
