Exterior:

Ridgedale is a elegant stallion with a lot of charisma. He is more than sufficiently long-lined. The head has a lot of expression, the neck has a good length with a good space behind the jaw. The neck has a good length and good shape, with the neck being somewhat heavily muscled at the bottom. The shoulder has a good length and position. The withers are more than sufficiently developed. The back could have a little more muscle, the loins on the other hand are very broadly muscled. The croup has a good length and position. The foreleg is correctly positioned, the hind leg is slightly bent. The foundation is hard in quality and has more than enough bone. The stallion has good feet.

Lineage:

Sire Glamourdale managed to win the gold medal twice at the World Championship in Herning in 2023. He also won gold as a seven-year-old at the World Championship for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo. Because of these top sport performances, Glamourdale was awarded the title of KWPN Horse of the Year in 2020 and 2023. Mother Zakiyah (elite sport-(dres) PROK) unites the blood of the two preferent sires Jazz and Uniform.

Ridgedale is an honest stallion with a lot of go. He is comfortable to ride and is attentive to the aids. The walk is pure in the four-beat, but he still needs to stride more in this. The trot has bend in the joints, the stallion has a good posture in this but still needs to gain strength and carriage. The canter is appealing and shows an upward silhouette with imprint and space. The stallion shows suppleness and switching ability here. Ridgedale developed positively during the performance.
