Real Dream filly reserve champion of Holland!
Friday in Ermelo was the day of the NMK and the National Foal Inspection. Several offspring of Van Olst stallions were judged on this day, including foals by Pjethro, Real Dream, and Glamourdale.
Two of these foals were invited to the final at the end of the day:
The filly Vodka Orange, Pjethro x Governor, was bred by L. Verschuren from Hoek out of the Small Tour mare Luna. This direct damline also produced the Grand Prix dressage horse Zapatero by Rousseau. Vodka Orange ended at the 8th place in the final.
The other foal in the final was also a mare, Viral van Hof Olympia, Real Dream x Apache, bred by R. and A. Van Venrooij from Oud-Gastel. As the name suggests, she was bred out of the damline of the KWPN stallion Santano, a line that is full of outstandingly performing sport and inspection horses. This foal had previously been named champion of the Maas-Delta region, and she also impressed the judges in this final. As the best filly in the Netherlands, she became reserve champion of the Netherlands!
