Glamourdale Airlines Takes Off in London
At the CDI-W in London, Charlotte Fry thrilled the crowd with her fantastic rides on the KWPN-approved Glamourdale (Lord Leatherdale out of Thuja stb pref prest by Negro). With the approved stallion, bred by the late Joop Rodenburg, she once again proved to be a size too strong for the competition, resulting in scores of 80.78% in the Grand Prix and 89.17% in the Freestyle.
The World Cup Freestyle at London Olympia on Friday afternoon was a joy to behold. Just as in the Grand Prix, victory went to Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale. Glamourdale Airlines, the new freestyle for Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale, was a success, the second time Fry had ridden the test.
This weekend, the British were treated to the best that dressage has to offer, and in London, that was clearly Glamourdale. The stallion, owned by Van Olst Horses and Lottie Fry, was the convincing winner in both the Grand Prix and the freestyle. Glamourdale scored over 80% in the Grand Prix, and nearly reached 90% in the freestyle.
