HC IJsselmuiden: Pjethro Continues Success in M-Class
Charlotte Fry and Pjethro won the first Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Dressage Competition in Kronenberg. The son of Kjento also won the IJsselmuiden competition on Saturday with 89.6 points.
As first starters in the M-class, Charlotte Fry and Pjethro (Kjento out of Jaomie elite IBOP-dres D-OC by Desperado, breeder: A.J. Beerens of De Moer) immediately set the tone. Pjethro performed well under Fry and received high praise from the judges.
Judges Hans Peter Minderhoud, Patrick Berends, and Brecht D’Hoore awarded a good test with a 9.5 for trot and submission. “This horse showed a very fine performance with a beautiful active expression,” explained Brecht D’Hoore. He maintained his length throughout the test in a beautiful frame. His walk is well-active and decisive. In trot, this stallion has excellent technique, a lot of stamina, and excellent transitional ability. He also performed the exercises with great ease. In canter, we saw excellent balance and good activity.
Stablemate Powerdale (Glamourdale out of Dancing Girl Ster, Prestatie by Johnson, breeder: F. Hoogenboom, Lemelerveld) finished just off the podium in a respectable 4th place, earning an 8.8 for harony and a highlight of a 9 for his trot.
