Kjento daughter Sunrise, EPTM’s standout with 85.5 points

The first EPTM exam of the calendar year was held in Ermelo last Friday. Twenty-three mares passed the exam, seven of which scored 80 points or more. Sunrise (by Kjento) scored 85.5 points, the top scorer.
Fifteen dressage mares and eight show jumping mares passed their EPTM exam today. “Simply a great group of horses,” summarized Marcel Beukers, who assessed the horses along with Luuk Smetsers and Sandra Schmuecker. “They performed well at the exam today, and we had a few very nice standouts.”

Sunrise (Kjento out of Fernanda ster by Krack C, breeder Th.M. Haarman from Heeten) of Van Olst Horses in Den Hout passed convincingly. After completing the EPTM exam, she scored 80 points for conformation and was placed elite. A very well-rounded, appealing mare who was very easy to ride. She walks with ample scope and uses her body. In trot and canter, she shows excellent technique and balance. She scored a 9 for both posture and balance, as well as for rideability and workability.
