Real Dream daughter Viral van Hof Olympia champion during Central Inspection of the Maas Delta region
The four most complete dressage fillies returned for the leading group. Henk Dirksen and Wouter Plaizier were assisted by guest jury member Nol Gerritsen.
Convincing
Round after round, Viral van Hof Olympia (Real Dream out of Inatana van Hof Olympia ster pref PROK by Apache) from breeders Ralph and Annemiek van Venrooij-Mathijssen from Oud-Gastel managed to convince the most, and with this championship title she does justice to her strong lineage. “This is a generously developed, uphill built foal that naturally moves with a lot of posture. In trot, her good leg technique, hind leg use and balance are noticeable. She also has that good posture and balance in canter, and she always canters very easily. In short: a very complete foal!”, Henk Dirksen explained. Ralph and Annemiek van Venrooij have had success with this line several times. The plan is to keep this foal “I like to train them myself and we have a lot of confidence in this foal”, says Annemiek. “This morning she was still walking around in the pasture at home and she always walks well, which is why we went to the inspection with confidence. The mother gives a lot of blood and we always try to choose stallions with a down-to-earth character and a good gallop for her. Ralph follows the performance test closely and that is how we ended up with Real Dream. We were immediately charmed by this foal and that is why, for the first time, we covered again with the same stallion. I am happy that Viral showed what she is worth here today, hopefully she will do that again in Ermelo!
