Everdale wins U25 freestyle during Indoor Brabant

Charlotte Fry finished third in the U25 test with Everdale (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) on Friday, but the British rider left no doubt about it in the freestyle on Saturday. With 76.075% Everdale won the victory. The piaffe and passage came back nicely and the stallion showed that he not only has talent for collecting, but also for the extended gates. It was a shame that a mistake in the changes crept into the canter, but the score of more than 76% was more than sufficient for the win.

Everdale son fetches €380.000 at PSI auction

An average of almost 400,000 Euro for a jumping horse and a good 290,000 Euro for a dressage horse. Those are the impressive figures from the 2018 PSI-Auction.

At the auction, held by Ullrich Kasselmann and Paul Schockemöhle, the 4-year-old Everdale-son, Evergreen (ds.Don Davidoff), was also sold for €380.000. Once again a nice success on the C.V. of Everdale, who is becoming increasingly well known as a producer of very talented sports horses.

Someren: Everdale wins U25 Grand Prix with 75.38%

Today, 30th November, a Sub-top competition was held at Het Keelven in Someren. The 2 ladies, Lottie Fry and Franka Loos, from Team Van Olst were emphatically present and performed very nice tests under the watchful eye of trainer Anne van Olst and our competition groom Claire James.

The exceptionally talented stallion Everdale (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) won the combined Big Tour class with a superb score of 75.38% in the U25 Grand Prix. “Just an incredibly good test with really nice series and a lot of eights for the piaffe and passage sections”, according to a happy Charlotte Fry. Everdale’s sire, Lord Leatherdale (Lord Loxley x Ferragamo), also scored well in the Inter II and was 2nd in this class with 66.39%. “Lord had a couple of small mistakes that prevented a higher score, he didn’t jump through well in a pirouette, but for the two-time series he scored a 9!”

In the ZZ-Z class Lottie made her debut with a Lord Leatherdale-son. This For Your Eyes Only scored well in all sections and narrowly missed the 70%. This combination showed much perspective for the future.
