Gertjan and Anne van Olst honored with British Equestrian Medals of Honour
Gertjan and Anne were put in the spotlight during the London International Horse Show. They were awarded the ‘British Equestrian Medals of Honour’ for their outstanding contribution to the success of the British dressage team in recent years. In addition to Gertjan and Anne, Lottie also received an award; the British Dressage International Champions of Great Britain Trophy.
Anne and Gertjan van Olst owe their award to the load of medals that rider Lottie Fry has won with their horses. The gold medals of the stallion Glamourdale at the World Championships are the most eye-catching. But this also includes the contribution of Everdale under Fry to team bronze at the Games and team silver at the European Championships in Hagen.
Charlotte Fry received her award for impressive results at the FEI European Dressage Championships this summer. In Riesenbeck she won gold with the team, came third in the Grand Prix, won silver in the freestyle and achieved a fourth place in the Special with Glamourdale.
