Van Olst Sales expands and goes “online”.

The well-known and successful annually returning Van Olst Sales goes online.
Knowing that “live auctions with the public” will be a “utopia” for the time being, Van Olst Horses has decided to auction his 2020 collection of young (3/4 years) ridden dressage horses from its own breeding farm (Van Olst Sales) online via “vanolstsales.online”.

Gertjan: “The intention is that we will auction our collection of young dressage horses, spread over the next half year 2020”.
The first group of 10 ridden auction horses will be auctioned on Monday 8th June.

Online auctioning of the ridden horses will alternate with online auctioning of foals.
Now that the Limburg foal auction no longer offers dressage foals and the Maren-Kessel and Deurne foal auctions are canceled, we can meet a need and offer our breeders an extra possibility to sell their foals.
Breeders can register their foals and have them filmed and photographed at the Van Olst Horses accommodation in Den Hout, after which the foals will be put on the online auction site ”.

More information will follow soon, people who already want more information can contact Van Olst Horses: info@vanolsthorses.com.

Charlotte Dujardin reports that she is totally in love with her new ride. The black pearl is the Negro offspring Mowgli. His mother is Florentina who competes with Dujardin at the highest level. Dujardin bought the striking grey Florentina in 2012 at the Brightwells Auction. The combination came out in five international shows, and also managed to win all these shows.

Everdale available through fresh semen

For the Grand Prix stallion Everdale and Charlotte Fry the focus for this year is on possible participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo. That is why Van Olst Horses decided to make Everdale (by Lord Leatherdale x Negro, breeder P. Kluitmans) available to breeders this year only by means of frozen semen.

However, now that the Corona virus gives a lot of uncertainty about, among other things, the continuation of the coming competition season (and therefore also about the Olympic Games), Everdale is immediately available to the breeders through fresh semen (EU). We keep a close eye on the developments surrounding the Olympic Games.

Everdale and Lottie are in great shape and continue to train according to schedule, which means for now that all options are kept open for both sport and breeding.

Stallionpresentation april 10th now online

As everyone knows, the Corona virus is gripping the whole world. We also take our responsibility in this. After the show in Exloo that has been canceled, we have now decided to cancel the show in Den Hout. In order to be able to present our stallions, we have decided in consultation with ClipMyHorse to broadcast an online presentation of all stallions that would otherwise also be shown in the show. This presentation can be seen on Friday evening April 10 from 7.30 pm and will also be shown online for free in the media library of ClipMyHorse.

Inverness (s. Everdale) sold

The talented 7 year old stallion Inverness (v. Everdale x Johnson x Variant, breeder Y.M.M. van Maasacker) was sold by his owners Van Olst Horses and Lickley Horses UK. The new owner is the Korean company W. Horseland. Inverness will remain in the Netherlands and will be trained and shown by Brecht D’Hoore in the future.

Inverness was bought as a foal at the Limburg Foal Auction by the combination Van Olst / Lickley.

As a 3-year-old, Inverness has been KWPN approved and registered for breeding after a very good performance test. Last year (2019) Inverness showed a very good collection of foals. Over the years Inverness has been carefully trained at Van Olst Horses. The Everdale son already showed his special talents during his training.

Brecht D’Hoore: “I am very happy with the opportunity to ride this stallion! We have been a combination for 2 weeks now and we are starting to know each other. Inverness is a horse with a lot of talent and a real personality. We are going to take the time to get to know each other well and he seems to have a lot to offer for the Grand Prix. I am extremely grateful to the people of W. Horseland for giving me such an opportunity as a rider. ”

Inverness remains available for breeding via Van Olst Horses.

Negro son Indigro wins Dutch Championship at Z1 level

Jennifer Sekreve started today at the KHNS Indoor Championships in the Z1 with the black stallion Indigro (by Negro x Jazz x Ulft, breeder J. Deenen from Heijen). With more than 71%, the combination won the championship title. “I was already very satisfied after the test”, the rider responds.

“The last weeks in the training went very well, I am happy that I could show it now,” says Sekreve. Indigro is a real test horse. When he comes in, he puts those ears on and he really wants to do it for you. ”
